Tool&Task integrates an external editor of your choice. We do recommend, that you select Notepad++ If you have another editor which you prefer, check whether Tool&Task does integrate this software properly. If you are not sure, try Notepad++ or give us an Email. Notepad++ is excellent and free of charge. It supports UTF8. Great stuff.

m_sysdef has the link to download Notepad++ in the page External progs. and finds the program after installation if you install it following the defaults of the program.

Notepad++ automatically checks for updates and offers you the corresponding downloads. Just to make sure: it is a routine in notepad++
