repair table

FoxPro® does not open a table if there is any discrepancy between the table header entries and the data of this table. Such a mismatch can occur, when  a record was appendet but the program did not update the header by any reason. The program finds this difference and corrects it. Sometimes, the last record is not complete and it is removed. Actually, to our experience this solves most of the problems with .dbf files. If the problem you have is not solved, we might check the file and can - perhaps - teach some more tricks to our program. Contact us by e-mail.

In case you have a broken file in hfiles (a subdirectory of your Tool&Task root) and there is no chance to repair, take the file form you backup system. if you think now: 'good idea, next idea', we only can offer to delete this file. Tool&Task will create a new file but it will be empty!
